HOBY is Outstanding!

O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G OUT-OUT-OUTSTANDING!

So I have had another outstanding weekend at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference (HOBY). This was my 5th year back! And to be honest, it never gets old! We were cheering our little lungs out (well, some of us have big lungs) and a lot of us lost our voices. My voice is on its way to floating away, but I'm amazed that it isn't completely shot like it usually has been in the past after HOBY. (When I talk normally I sound like a man, but when I try to control my voice I sound like a boy going through puberty. It's a lose-lose situation.)

I arrived with a huge welcome the first night when all the volunteers congregated. It was like I was a celebrity or maybe it was the fact that I was the person bringing in the pizzas? Hmm ... we'll just go with the former. Our group of JCs (junior counselors) were awesome! They seriously were the best group we've had so far. In fact, they were so outstanding (hehe) that I want HOBY to be every weekend! I had this huge nostalgic moment of thinking about returning to WLC (the World Leadership Congress) in Washington, DC. (I wonder if there is still a possibility of being able to go. Maybe I should go visit Celia!)


So here is the group of lovely JCs. Can't you tell how exciting HOBY is? (Don't mind me.) We really had an amazing time. Maybe I should include the quiz that I sent out to the JCs to fill out. Anyhow whoever fills out the quiz can get a prize. Here it is:
