Where's the shoe?!?

I came into work today and do you want to know what the first thing that happened was? ... I became it! Okay, some of you may be wondering what that even means. Well you see, Mitchell (who is pictured with his trusty cardboard shipping tube below) was frantically running around the office and tagged me. So, I became "it" in the game of tag. Since when was the last time that happened to you? Brings back some good memories, huh?

What does tag have to do with the title: "Where's the shoe?!?" This game of tag didn't just end, it turned into a play day at the office. If you look at the picture of Mitchell, there is a little gray flip-flop sticking out of the end of it. (That is the shoe he was able to keep a hold of.) So what happened to the other shoe? ... We flushed it down the toilet! No, I'm kidding. That's what we told Mitchell, but he knew we were just teasing. Kids just have a way of knowing these kinds of things. Anyway, we hid the flip-flop in a handy little place - one of the desk drawers. Mitchell searched and searched. He looked behind my chair, under my desk, around the work station, but to no avail did he find his shoe. He kept saying, "Where's the shoe?! Where's my shoe??" After a little bit (and probably what seemed like an eternity for Mitchell), we returned the long lost shoe.

Work was fabulous indeed. We started assembling packages to send off while attempting to watch Rocky Balboa. However, seeing that Mitchell and I have no "off" button and the only volumes we have are loud and louder ... we really couldn't hear much of the movie at all. It was as though we suddenly lost our sense of hearing and were watching a movie without subtitles or someone signing for us ... completely hopeless!
