2 Essentials: Sunscreen & Raid

Doesn't this little fellow look so cute? ... If you said yes, then I think I will invite you to come and take care of the problem we have here at work. I was walking just outside of my office carrying a case of waterbottles. As I was carrying my heavy load along the normal pathway, I suddenly felt a stinging pain in my hand and quickly dropped my stuff!

All I can say is OUCH! It stung for minutes! I didn't drop my load out of surprise, but it was out of pure pain! I still had more things to unload out of the truck and had to brave the journey again. There are killer wasps! Well, not really, but they would fly right towards you. I was sure they had something against me, the company, or maybe just people in general. I did recover, and luckily I have been stung by a bee before, so I knew I wouldn't swell up like Martin Short did on the movie Pure Luck. (Funny movie, in case you are wondering.)

A few hours after my encounter with the lovely wasp, my boss came into my office exclaiming that a wasp stung him on the hand. I knew they had something against us! What makes it even more creepy is that he got stung on the same hand and in the same place. Hmm ... I wonder what those wasps are up to.... We may never know.

So, as you head about your day, not only should you put some sunscreen on to protect yourself from the sun's powerful UV rays, it would probably be a good idea to take a bottle of Raid with you as well. :D
