Well, I guess I should be saying something else because now you will automatically think that I'm vacationing in Hawaii, but that is incorrect. I made my way closer in that direction from my starting destination, which was Utah. I'm here in California where every day is sunny and wonderful, and the nights are warm and don't freeze.
I made a little trip out here with a couple of friends, and it has been a delight. It's really nice to take a break from the day-to-day things in life and just relax. I sat outside on a swing bench under a tree this morning. It was gorgeous. I felt so calm and relaxed. Time had stopped in its tracks....
Remember that life moves fast. It's like a big pie. When you are a year old you have the entire piece to last the year. When you get older it keeps getting divided up in smaller pieces. So when you turn 20, 40, 80 the size of your piece gets really small and goes by really fast. Just like the years go by really fast as you get older. Take some time to enjoy the simple things in life. It's beautiful!
Oh, here's the only picture that I took on my trip to California. Funny thing is, this isn't even in Cali-, it's in Reno, NV! Love ya Ducky!
