Hello people!
I am sitting in my last evening class of the semester, and I'm so excited to finish this class. I have to admit that I'm a little freaked out about the final since the midterm was pretty tricky. Our professor still has yet to post our midterm grades!
So here is a little overview of what I did this semester
Classes: I took Japanese 302 with Yamada-sensei (who, by the way, is hilarious!). My brother was in the same class and section as I was, and I must say that it was more fun than most of the class could handle. We had our little buddy system and scoped out the class to find to cool people. I also took Dance 284 and Dance 285 - International Standard Ballroom and International Latin Ballroom, respectively. I had so much fun dancing! Thanks to my best friend Bradley, I have fallen in love with ballroom dancing. Everyone needs to do it! Or at least try! Trust me. I had Doctrine and Covenants 325 from Brother Bott (who doesn't love that guy?). I learned so much in that class, and I realize how much more I can learn! (I thought I would interject really quick and say, "Duh, Naomi. Way to point out the obvious.") I also finally took Physical Science 100 with Dr. Ware (who happens to be Mark Ware's brother from the MTC). I love the sciences, but don't tell anyone cause then they will know that I'm a nerd. And finally, I had Principles of Journalism 239 with Dr. Stoker (who is transferring to Texas Tech after spring term). That was a fun, long night class.
Little Miracles: Okay, I'm going to share one small miracle that happened over the semester even though there were SEVERAL that I could talk about. I had my sister spend a weekend not too long ago, and I realized that I had to practice dance. I looked around everywhere, but alas, I could not find my ballroom shoes. I searched, and searched, and searched, and looked, and looked, and everything! Result: no shoes. Then I realized! Oh no! I think I left them in the Physical Science lecture room in the Clyde Buildling! It was a Saturday, so I didn't know if the room would be open. My sister and I run to the CB (or more like I ran and she was trying to catch up) and I saw most of the rooms were locked. I walked up to the lecture hall and saw that the door wasn't closed all the way. I opened the door, and it was completely dark in the room. I went over to where I usually sit (left side near the front) and YES! There they were! My SHOES! I was so grateful! Honestly!
Good Experiences: I got my mission call during this semester. That was amazing! I had a good time filling out the papers and getting my call to HONG KONG, CHINA! Woohoo! I can't wait! Another thing that is equally amazing or even more so than that was I was able to go through the Salt Lake Temple and become endowed! Definitely an AMAZING and INDESCRIBABLE experience!
Well, I'm looking forward to spring and am loving life! :)
